Lukács Bánhegyi came out of the goal and Kelly Jacobs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoltán Stieber in the 15th minute of play forced Inmortales FC's goalkeeper Cyprian Tipinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kelly Jacobs fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inmortales FC's protests and gave Kelly Jacobs a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ştefan Daimacă in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lukács Bánhegyi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mátyás Zakariás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyprian Tipinski having to interfere. Zoltán Stieber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Cyprian Tipinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Inmortales FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungarian Olympic were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
