In the 3rd minute of the game Johan Öman made a throw-in which Peng Yong Guang played forward. Carles Olle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Termander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th match minute, Golden Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Termander to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, VILLARREAL UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Durazno came free, but Carles Olle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VILLARREAL UNITED's Valentin Voicu got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlitos Paredes hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Carles Olle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Durazno in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind VILLARREAL UNITED's goalkeeper Carles Olle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 63 minutes of play, Golden Lions FC's Bebben Johansson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carles Olle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valentin Voicu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anders Lundqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Valentin Voicu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pacôme Daire in the 96th minute of play forced Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Golden Lions FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Delmar Campello was slow to take the kick. During this time VILLARREAL UNITED's players had a chance to rest. Hustaz Quijana was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The VILLARREAL UNITED players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Golden Lions FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
