An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Traczewski in the 5th minute of play forced KS Junior's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Brytan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Poland getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Radomil Michnik hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, KS Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Traczewski came free, but Wawrzyniec Brytan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wawrzyniec Brytan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Majewski in the 14th minute of the match. If Damian Majewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KS Junior's Wawrzyniec Brytan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wojciech Krzynowek in the 18th minute of play. Artur Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Glaza in the 20th minute of the match. Artur Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Karp in the 22nd minute of play. Damazy Joks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Wawrzyniec Brytan made a huge save. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Karp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Damazy Joks notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of KS Junior's Wawrzyniec Brytan. Wawrzyniec Brytan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd minute Cristian Mohora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Mohora came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, KS Junior's Wawrzyniec Brytan got control of the ball when Damazy Joks tried to sneak it across the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, KS Junior's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Brytan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damazy Joks. In the 47th minute, Michal Karp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Junior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Radomil Michnik went to the cornerflag to take it. Radomil Michnik made a great header on Poland's corner, it was just that KS Junior's Wawrzyniec Brytan managed to reach the ball for a save. Wawrzyniec Brytan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Joks in the 59th minute of play. Poland's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Radomil Michnik in the 60th minute. A nice corner shot did that Lech Kaczucha got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wawrzyniec Brytan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 64 minutes into the match, Damian Majewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wawrzyniec Brytan. KS Junior's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Majewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Poland's Tadeusz Raschke was substituted for Damian Majewski. Edward Traczewski scored 4-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wawrzyniec Brytan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruno Handi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Artur Boruc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Poland's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
