FC CZARNUCHY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sport Lisboa e Benfica the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilian Zgabei in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Peck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC CZARNUCHY's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rostyslav Solodkyi was slow to take the kick. During this time Sport Lisboa e Benfica's players had a chance to rest. After 25 minutes, Emilian Zgabei made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. FC CZARNUCHY's Aaron Peck tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Emilian Zgabei hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Herb Good was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ferdinand Dupre. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilian Zgabei in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aaron Peck saved FC CZARNUCHY from getting behind. Emilian Zgabei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aaron Peck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match Sport Lisboa e Benfica got a corner. FC CZARNUCHY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rostyslav Solodkyi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Aaron Peck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emilian Zgabei's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute of the match Sport Lisboa e Benfica got a corner. FC CZARNUCHY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rostyslav Solodkyi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Du Lei Bin got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Sport Lisboa e Benfica were awarded a corner. Rostyslav Solodkyi went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Collin Grimm managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilian Zgabei in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aaron Peck saved FC CZARNUCHY from getting behind. The FC CZARNUCHY players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sport Lisboa e Benfica were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tracey Christensen to make the kick off. FC CZARNUCHY's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Emilian Zgabei scored to the left of an out of position Aaron Peck, making the score, 0-5. Aaron Peck was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Emilian Zgabei capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emilian Zgabei really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. 66 minutes into the match, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Emilian Zgabei sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aaron Peck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, Emilian Zgabei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Aaron Peck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC CZARNUCHY's Aaron Peck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save FC CZARNUCHY from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC CZARNUCHY's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rostyslav Solodkyi was slow to take the kick. During this time Sport Lisboa e Benfica's players had a chance to rest. Du Lei Bin was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Emilian Zgabei received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aaron Peck came out and tried to block the shot, but Emilian Zgabei slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 77th minute. Emilian Zgabei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aaron Peck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Aaron Peck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilian Zgabei, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC CZARNUCHY's zone, Emilian Zgabei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Peck came out of the goal and Emilian Zgabei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The FC CZARNUCHY fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sport Lisboa e Benfica were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
