But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejo Marz couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute Jairo Baraquiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iraido Bertiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Valhalla Time's Alejo Marz got a free kick in the 17th minute. Iraido Bertiz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jairo Baraquiel went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Valhalla Time defense, Jairo Baraquiel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iraido Bertiz. The Valhalla Time fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iraido Bertiz should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute Jairo Baraquiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iraido Bertiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jairo Baraquiel made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Descamisados CF booed when Valhalla Time was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Cerilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iraido Bertiz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Raphael Mazon. Iraido Bertiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Baraquiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After a rather tough play, Valhalla Time's Leandro Virila got a free kick in the 70th minute. Valhalla Time's Bernabe Odon was substituted for Alejo Marz. Descamisados CF made a substitution. A wasted opportunity for Valhalla Time. The Descamisados CF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Descamisados CF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
