Emanuel Podgoreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Lastur in the 30th minute of the match. Horácio Garcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Elpidio Bilintx made a huge save. The supporters of TORQUE F.C. booed when Acercate Y Patea de Lejos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yves Ayral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yves Ayral hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Emanuel Podgoreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Ieltxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Yves Ayral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Bilintx having to interfere. Emanuel Podgoreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Abancens in the 44th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horácio Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elpidio Bilintx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horácio Garcia went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ricardo Bochini made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by TORQUE F.C.'s Siro Guillen. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Acercate Y Patea de Lejos fans cheered their team off the field, for while TORQUE F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
