Visen Allu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Conceicão came free, but Candido Piedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tartalo Delatorre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Visen Allu in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match Altermundi FC got a corner. Atlético Grau Piura's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Recai Taykurt ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Visen Allu sped through Atlético Grau Piura's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tartalo Delatorre. The supporters of Atlético Grau Piura booed when Altermundi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Billie Hoes scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Candido Piedra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atlético Grau Piura's Alan Varela managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Han Ying in the 38 minute of the game. If Diego Renard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Visen Allu to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Altermundi FC got a freekick which was hit by Disvandis Larraona. Candido Piedra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Billie Hoes went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Altermundi FC's Candido Piedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wojciech Pyrtek in the 63rd minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Altermundi FC's Visen Allu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tartalo Delatorre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Diego Renard kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Alexandro Cattalán ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tartalo Delatorre was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Altermundi FC made a substitution. Victoriano Constantinescu replaced Visen Allu. 91 minutes in the game Yu Yu Chen did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Wojciech Pyrtek. After having played for 94 minutes, Victoriano Constantinescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altermundi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victoriano Constantinescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atlético Grau Piura's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
