Robin Schirp was a little too slow when Widodo 曹操 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Zygmunt Jarmulowicz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Robin Schirp. That made the score 2-1 in the 23 minute of play. Olaf Basinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Eschenbaum in the 28th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Sc Ajax Hirtenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Goering to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Jarmulowicz in the 29th minute of play forced Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's goalkeeper Robin Schirp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Piotrek Rusin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The corner led Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's Piotrek Rusin to fire away a dangerous shot which Olaf Basinski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Robin Schirp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Jarmulowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zygmunt Jarmulowicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olaf Basinski came out of the goal and Arne Eschenbaum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute Zygmunt Jarmulowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Schirp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
