Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) New England Minas's Edgardo Silva started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Edgardo Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New England Minas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for New England Minas! 13 minutes into the match, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Silva came free, but Xie Bang Ang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Robert Haegg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Robert Haegg got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Xie Bang Ang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Pacheco in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Edgardo Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xie Bang Ang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Matro, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Jeremy Nicholas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robert Haegg went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute, Robert Haegg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ARedonditos de Ricota CFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robert Haegg to make the kick off. New England Minas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lalo Rosas in the 54th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goalie and right to Alperen Öksüz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Xie Bang Ang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Pacheco in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Haegg. A collision led to ARedonditos de Ricota CFK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Guaberto Matro hit a great ball. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Emilio Gonzales was substituted for Robert Haegg. Guaberto Matro kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Oscar Nordmark ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xie Bang Ang was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 72 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilio Gonzales. Emilio Gonzales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Jeremy Nicholas made a huge save. Jeremy Nicholas made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Clemente Beltran sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the ARedonditos de Ricota CFK defense, Alperen Öksüz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xie Bang Ang. The ARedonditos de Ricota CFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xie Bang Ang should have stopped the shot. Jeremy Nicholas was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Clemente Beltran capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Clemente Beltran really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Xie Bang Ang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
