Aristide Ciuvică could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ramiro Gabrio made a huge save. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Damian Servando reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fulgencio Eyague. The goal made the score 1-1. Both players had fought hard during the second half to keep the score at 1-1. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. La Candela FC's Guaberto Bitxintxo started the play with the initial kick off. In the 101st minute, Damian Servando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AC LeX Luthor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rodion Nikitin in the 104th minute. A nice corner shot did that Rodion Nikitin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ramiro Gabrio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 106 played minutes La Candela FC got a freekick which was hit by Paul Ros. The audience was convinced that Damian Servando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fulgencio Eyague was relentless in the 114th minute of the game. In the 115th minute La Candela FC were awarded a corner. Valtteri Snellman went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on La Candela FC's corner Valtteri Snellman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fulgencio Eyague quite easily take care of the ball. The score was still level after an even and exciting first-half in extra time. The players took a moment to grab a drink and get instructions from their managers before swapping ends.

AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Servando in the 120th minute of play. Peep Pronk took the ball and in the 124 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramiro Gabrio. Ramiro Gabrio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.
