Creekers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vladimír Svatý ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 22nd minute Rubens da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryant Miles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Rubens da Silveira came free, but Bryant Miles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FK Řitka's Rubens da Silveira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bryant Miles in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Saša Šobáň hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Saverio Vistruario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Creekers's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Vistruario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cleto Peyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ladislao Gines made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in FK Řitka's zone, Ladislao Gines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cleto Peyo came out of the goal and Ladislao Gines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Creekers made a substitution. Riley Trotter replaced Ladislao Gines. Margus Paulus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Bryant Miles made a huge save. Creekers's Bryant Miles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Filipașcu in the 69th minute of play. Bryant Miles was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vladimír Svatý showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 71 minute of play. FK Řitka's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
