In the 4th minute of the match, Corneliu Stănoiu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luiz Fernando Catarinense saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Augusto Custódio hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Scragbadun FC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Catarinense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Begal in the 15th minute of play forced Scragbadun FC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Cristinel Nicodim managed to get in a good position for a shot. BlueLionesse's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristinel Nicodim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The supporters of Scragbadun FC booed when BlueLionesse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergiu Cezar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Fernando Catarinense made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Cristinel Nicodim sent off a good shot on target. Benjamim Marinho's late challenge caught a BlueLionesse's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamim Marinho helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Scragbadun FC's Cícero Paiva got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Scragbadun FC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Catarinense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute, BlueLionesse's Corneliu Stănoiu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 39thth minute of the game Cristinel Nicodim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scragbadun FC's Luiz Fernando Catarinense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 43 minutes, Isac Begal made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Scragbadun FC's Luiz Fernando Catarinense tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

Luiz Fernando Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristinel Nicodim in the 50th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristinel Nicodim in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Fernando Catarinense saved Scragbadun FC from getting behind. When BlueLionesse's Cristinel Nicodim in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Scragbadun FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristinel Nicodim in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. In the 65th minute Corneliu Stănoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69thth minute of the game Cristinel Nicodim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scragbadun FC's Luiz Fernando Catarinense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. BlueLionesse's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Corneliu Stănoiu in the 70th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristinel Nicodim in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Isac Begal made a great header on BlueLionesse's corner, it was just that Scragbadun FC's Luiz Fernando Catarinense managed to reach the ball for a save. If Corneliu Stănoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to BlueLionesse getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Isac Begal hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Scragbadun FC defense, Cristinel Nicodim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Fernando Catarinense. The Scragbadun FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Fernando Catarinense should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the BlueLionesse players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
