Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Cory Kirkland came free, but Luis Swain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Segundo Gol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brant Teague, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. S.D. Bajen's Luis Swain proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save S.D. Bajen from getting a goal against them. Wilbur Metz kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Woodrow Baggett made a precise shot to the right of Segundo Gol. New England Minas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Cory Kirkland sped through S.D. Bajen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luis Swain. Luis Swain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cory Kirkland in the 33rd minute of the match. Segundo Gol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Ventura in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Brant Teague managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.D. Bajen's supporters rose to their feet, but Brant Teague was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Segundo Gol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Woodrow Baggett in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Segundo Gol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Wilbur Metz got a free kick in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Cory Kirkland came free, but Luis Swain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brant Teague in the 40th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Segundo Gol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Cory Kirkland notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of S.D. Bajen's Luis Swain. Luis Swain was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cory Kirkland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Brant Teague's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Segundo Gol was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Fletcher Lund's late challenge caught a S.D. Bajen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Swain didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dallas Seymour went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After 74 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Chris Cabezon. Luis Swain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Cabezon in the 78th minute of the match. S.D. Bajen's Luis Swain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cory Kirkland in the 87th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Woodrow Baggett had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Segundo Gol. New England Minas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Woodrow Baggett was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. If Leonard Ventura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. S.D. Bajen's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
