Guilherme Olivieri hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Werner Uhl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute, Orville Salinas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquilino Rameriz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ernest Knowles. In the 12th minute of the match EL LOBO DE MIAMI got a corner. Houston Fire F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ernest Knowles ran over to the corner to take the kick. Werner Uhl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Aquilino Rameriz made a huge save. Nelson Insfrán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 曾诚枫 in the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Houston Fire F.C. getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Orville Salinas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wally Urbina in the 20th minute of play forced Houston Fire F.C.'s goalkeeper Aquilino Rameriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes Houston Fire F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ernest Knowles who took care of the corner kick. Nelson Insfrán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 曾诚枫, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Werner Uhl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Aquilino Rameriz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aquilino Rameriz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Werner Uhl in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarod Cunningham in the 32nd minute of play forced EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goalkeeper Nelson Insfrán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes Houston Fire F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Olivieri. Wally Urbina took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquilino Rameriz. Aquilino Rameriz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Rob Singer got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blake Rice took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nelson Insfrán. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Giuseppe Conway was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the game, one of EL LOBO DE MIAMI:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 曾诚枫 made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, 曾诚枫 took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Nelson Insfrán to make any attempt to save it. In the 57th minute, Blake Rice hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in EL LOBO DE MIAMI's zone, Guilherme Olivieri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelson Insfrán came out of the goal and Guilherme Olivieri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guilherme Olivieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Insfrán having to interfere. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Virgil Caudill got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68thth minute of the game 曾诚枫 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Nelson Insfrán was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st minute 曾诚枫 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Insfrán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Nelson Insfrán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 曾诚枫 in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in EL LOBO DE MIAMI's zone, Jarod Cunningham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelson Insfrán came out of the goal and Jarod Cunningham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of EL LOBO DE MIAMI booed when Houston Fire F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Fuller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Houston Fire F.C. were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing EL LOBO DE MIAMI to leave the ground with a draw.
