Xzavier Mirabel charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xzavier Mirabel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes FERRABARCA FC got a freekick which was hit by Xzavier Mirabel. After 6 played minutes, Obrero Barquisimeto's David McInstalker shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hermengildo Trianes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Obrero Barquisimeto reached it. Cresconio Mel kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Hermengildo Trianes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Bruna in the 10th minute of play. Ur Marfa in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pepe Concellon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of FERRABARCA FC booed when Obrero Barquisimeto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Mariano Betancourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Severino Bruna made a precise shot to the right of Hermengildo Trianes. FERRABARCA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bras Pizarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Hermengildo Trianes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Obrero Barquisimeto's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Ur Marfa scored to the left of an out of position Pepe Concellon, making the score, 1-1. Ronaldinho Suero hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The supporters of FERRABARCA FC booed when Obrero Barquisimeto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Mariano Betancourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cresconio Mel kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Obrero Barquisimeto getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Severino Bruna hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xzavier Mirabel in the 34th minute of play forced Obrero Barquisimeto's goalkeeper Pepe Concellon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes Obrero Barquisimeto got a freekick which was hit by David McInstalker. The supporters of FERRABARCA FC booed when Obrero Barquisimeto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. David McInstalker didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Ronaldinho Suero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pepe Concellon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. FERRABARCA FC's Hermengildo Trianes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bras Pizarro in the 43rd minute of play. After 46 minutes, Severino Bruna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Obrero Barquisimeto and the FERRABARCA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Obrero Barquisimeto got a freekick which was hit by Severino Bruna. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ur Marfa made a kick off. 58 minutes into the match, FERRABARCA FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Trianes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Pato. In the 59th minute, Cresconio Mel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FERRABARCA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Ur Marfa took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pepe Concellon. Pepe Concellon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. David McInstalker kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, David McInstalker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pepe Concellon came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by FERRABARCA FC's Ur Marfa. But to his dismay, Ur Marfa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Hermengildo Trianes was a little too slow when Bras Pizarro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 4-2. Veto Nieves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermengildo Trianes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Hermengildo Trianes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bras Pizarro in the 91st minute of play.
