Sociedad Anónima's Antonio Sorriva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atauri Iravedra in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sociedad Anónima's Marino Malet got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 9th minute, Sociedad Anónima's Edelmiro Carulla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Antonio Sorriva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erdiano Saena in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute Erdiano Saena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Sorriva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomiro Cubillo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Antonio Sorriva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerardo Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raulo Beguellina in the 30th minute of play forced Sociedad Anónima's goalkeeper Antonio Sorriva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Sorriva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerardo Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Atauri Iravedra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Sorriva was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A collision led to Tala Bosques del Jaure getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Azibar Blanch hit a great ball. Edelmiro Carulla was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Sociedad Anónima defense, Raulo Beguellina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonio Sorriva. The Sociedad Anónima fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonio Sorriva should have stopped the shot. The Sociedad Anónima players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tala Bosques del Jaure were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marino Malet to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sociedad Anónima getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Baldomiro Cubillo hit a great ball. Antonio Sorriva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerardo Bueno in the 63rd minute. 69 minutes into the match, Erdiano Saena notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Sociedad Anónima's Antonio Sorriva. Antonio Sorriva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sociedad Anónima's Lourenco Agreda was substituted for Marino Malet. Edelmiro Carulla took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Cantera. Alberto Cantera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. In the 85th minute, Edelmiro Carulla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sociedad Anónima fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. The supporters of Tala Bosques del Jaure booed when Sociedad Anónima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oriche Campillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
