Conny Ånger was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 27th match minute, FC Bodil United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sonny Sandberg to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when FC Bodil United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Grep didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torgny Fastesson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 36th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Wiktor Lingren's late challenge caught a FC Bodil United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torgny Fastesson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pelle Holm went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 46th minute, Golden Lions FC's Svante Sigman seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Svante Sigman the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Golden Lions FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Svante Sigman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 47 played minutes Golden Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Svante Sigman. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tord Näfver to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Golden Lions FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Christian Thorsberg hit a great ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Joakim Tham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Bodil United's Torgny Fastesson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Golden Lions FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sebastian Axelsson in the 64th minute. A nice corner shot did that Sebastian Axelsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Torgny Fastesson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 70th minute, Krister Andberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Joakim Tham fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Golden Lions FC's protests and gave Joakim Tham a yellow card for diving instead. 79 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Conny Ånger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tord Näfver. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Joakim Tham sped through FC Bodil United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Torgny Fastesson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Thorsberg in the 93rd minute of play forced FC Bodil United's goalkeeper Torgny Fastesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when FC Bodil United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Bokelund didn't get a good kick on the ball.
