The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Truman Ochoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Will Yeats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregory Michael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jude Booth in the 6th minute of the match. A collision led to Charlotte FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Brent Andersen hit a great ball. Hugh Bailey didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 10th minute. ARMENIAN 11's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! If Jude Booth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregory Michael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jude Booth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes, Dominic Knight mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charlotte FC and the ARMENIAN 11 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Charlotte FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Dominic Knight hit a great ball. When Del Sheppard fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Charlotte FC's protests and gave Del Sheppard a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, Charlotte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Del Sheppard to maneuver through the defense. In the 29thth minute of the game Rafael Gray who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Charlotte FC's Gregory Michael was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hugh Bailey in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gregory Michael, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Charlotte FC's Gregory Michael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Charlotte FC from getting a goal against them. Bo Maloney hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Charlotte FC's zone, Hugh Bailey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregory Michael came out of the goal and Hugh Bailey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Woody Norwood was the one to do the kick off. Gregory Michael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugh Bailey went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Gregory Michael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jude Booth, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the game, Jude Booth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gregory Michael was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ARMENIAN 11's Renato Dozier was substituted for Hugh Bailey. ARMENIAN 11's Jeramy Libby was substituted for Sylvester Chang. In the 71st minute Renato Dozier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregory Michael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Will Yeats hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Gregory Michael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Eason, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Renato Dozier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Michael having to interfere. Charlotte FC's Gregory Michael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Eason in the 83rd minute of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Renato Dozier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ARMENIAN 11's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renato Dozier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jude Booth in the 86th minute of play forced Charlotte FC's goalkeeper Gregory Michael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renato Dozier might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregory Michael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renato Dozier ran back to his position shaking his head. If Renato Dozier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charlotte FC's Gregory Michael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jude Booth in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Jude Booth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gregory Michael. Charlotte FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jude Booth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ARMENIAN 11 fully deserved thier win.
