Emery Garner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 17th minute, Jonah Holloway got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Sonny Schumacher cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Sanford Patterson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuan Zimmerman in the 34th minute of the match. Jonah Holloway received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Emery Garner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, ForestFire's Emery Garner got control of the ball when Sonny Schumacher tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 40 minutes of play, ForestFire's Curtis Hunter made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sanford Patterson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute Sonny Schumacher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emery Garner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ForestFire booed when San Antonio HotSPURS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mike Platt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Curtis Hunter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sanford Patterson having to interfere. After 93 played minutes San Antonio HotSPURS got a freekick which was hit by Collin Storey. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robbie Le Van got free with Sanford Patterson in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the ForestFire players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for San Antonio HotSPURS.
