Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Danilo Furtado started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mauro Norino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Chale in the 4th minute of play. After 7 minutes of play, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Isaias Baladi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauro Norino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mauro Norino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Ignazio, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Emanuel Urritz kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Danilo Chale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Chale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute, Isaias Baladi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olimpo de Bahia Blanca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Mauro Norino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Baladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ubaldo Vedillo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Elvio Osorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Abastas in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Orlando Magdaleno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauro Norino was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 41st minute of the match Ubaldo Vedillo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mauro Norino skillfully saved the ball. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Mauro Norino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Chale in the 42nd minute of play. If Arnulfo Abastas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Olimpo de Bahia Blanca were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Isaias Baladi made the kick off in the second half. Elvio Osorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Abastas in the 58th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Isaias Baladi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mauro Norino. That made the score 0-4 in the 68 minute of play. Elvio Osorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Abastas in the 74th minute of play. If Danilo Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Isaias Baladi took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Mauro Norino to make any attempt to save it. Mauro Norino made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Danilo Chale sent off a good shot on target. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Elvio Osorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Quintana in the 81st minute of play. Elvio Osorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Furtado in the 82nd minute of play. Danilo Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 85 minutes, Emanuel Urritz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olimpo de Bahia Blanca and the C. S. D. Pueyrredón players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Emanuel Urritz got a free kick in the 85th minute. The supporters of C. S. D. Pueyrredón booed when Olimpo de Bahia Blanca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Vedillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danilo Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Baladi in the 93rd minute of play forced C. S. D. Pueyrredón's goalkeeper Mauro Norino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Olimpo de Bahia Blanca supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Olimpo de Bahia Blanca would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
