Spectators: 187 (Terracing: 141, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bud Ludwick started the match with the kick off. Boroondara Milan's Jesse Angell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Cudmore in the 4th minute of play. Jesse Angell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olliver Todman in the 5th minute of play. Dani Cochrane took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jesse Angell. Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jesse Angell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olliver Todman went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Cudmore in the 12th minute of play forced Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Jesse Angell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesse Angell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olliver Todman in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olliver Todman in the 17th minute of play forced Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Jesse Angell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olliver Prince recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jesse Angell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Cudmore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Boroondara Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Minton came free, but Jesse Angell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Sam Cudmore made a precise shot to the right of Jesse Angell. Boroondara Milan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, Boroondara Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Minton came free, but Jesse Angell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes of play, Australian Youth Academy's Sam Cudmore made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesse Angell was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute Sam Cudmore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesse Angell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Olliver Todman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jesse Angell. Boroondara Milan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olliver Todman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sam Cudmore to strike the kick off in the second half. When Australian Youth Academy's Dani Cochrane in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boroondara Milan's goalie prevented a goal. In the 56th minute Sam Cudmore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesse Angell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvin Beaverley got his second yellow card in the match during the 56th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 57th minute, Alvin Beaverley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Cudmore got free with Jesse Angell in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 66 played minutes Sam Cudmore rounded Boroondara Milan's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. A collision led to Australian Youth Academy getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Herman Heberle hit a great ball. Jesse Angell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Cudmore in the 72nd minute of play. Rex Schultz kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, Olliver Prince cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Jesse Angell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jesse Angell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sam Cudmore in the 78th minute. In the 79th match minute, Boroondara Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bud Ludwick to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute Sam Cudmore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesse Angell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boroondara Milan's Jesse Angell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Boroondara Milan from getting a goal against them. Bud Ludwick was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. If Ben Minton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Australian Youth Academy's Ben Minton in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boroondara Milan's goalie prevented a goal. Jesse Angell made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Ben Minton sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the match, Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Jesse Angell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ben Minton. Sam Cudmore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Jesse Angell made a huge save. The Boroondara Milan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Australian Youth Academy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
