The Fractal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Cordaryal should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Teofilo Herauso notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Fractal FC's Alberto Cordaryal. Alberto Cordaryal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Hermengildo Dorio got a free kick in the 16th minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Victor Azeari took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Carmelo Marino to make any attempt to save it. Zeledon Silviano hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Herauso in the 25th minute of play forced Fractal FC's goalkeeper Alberto Cordaryal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th match minute, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Edorta to maneuver through the defense. Fractal FC's Alberto Cordaryal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Janssen in the 32nd minute of play. Carmelo Marino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Laurendi in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute of the match Teofilo Herauso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alberto Cordaryal skillfully saved the ball. When Teofilo Herauso came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Herauso couldn't finish the play. After 47 played minutes Wilfredo Laurendi rounded Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Laurendi in the 59th minute of play forced Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Carmelo Marino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Cordaryal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vincent Janssen in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Fractal FC's Severino Domenec got a free kick in the 78th minute. When Wilfredo Laurendi came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Fractal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Laurendi couldn't finish the play. Alberto Cordaryal made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Teofilo Herauso sent off a good shot on target. Victor Azeari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
