In the 43rdth minute of the game Eero Uusipaavalniemi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galand FC's Paavali Paatelainen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eero Uusipaavalniemi got free with Paavali Paatelainen in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The corner led Galand FC's Billy Kvick to fire away a dangerous shot which Peter Schmeichel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Salomo Laukka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Peter Schmeichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paavali Paatelainen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Akseli Ilola's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 59thth minute of the game Akseli Ilola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galand FC's Paavali Paatelainen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manchester United FC's Peter Schmeichel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Manchester United FC from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Davide Beckham put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Paavali Paatelainen. Paavali Paatelainen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Galand FC's zone, Eero Uusipaavalniemi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paavali Paatelainen came out of the goal and Eero Uusipaavalniemi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Beckham in the 87th minute of play forced Galand FC's goalkeeper Paavali Paatelainen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manchester United FC made a substitution. Eeli Niinimäki replaced Valdemar Kuoppala. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Galand FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eero Uusipaavalniemi was slow to take the kick. During this time Manchester United FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 91st match minute, Galand FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teppo Kallioniemi to maneuver through the defense.
