After 8 minutes FC ILIRIA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Doctor Sócrates who took care of the corner kick. After 10 minutes, Alan Van Beets mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC ILIRIA and the Sledgehammer KO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcus Allbäck took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl Bank. Karl Bank dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Sledgehammer KO's Leonard Åhman in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Leonard Åhman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Bank having to interfere. Karl Bank showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doctor Sócrates, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Fredrik Moberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Sledgehammer KO getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Karl-Axel Stolpe hit a great ball. Karl Bank came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Sledgehammer KO's Leonard Åhman. But to his dismay, Leonard Åhman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. 74 minutes into the match, FC ILIRIA's goal looked a bit too open when Doctor Sócrates came free, but Karl Bank reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC ILIRIA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Doctor Sócrates was slow to take the kick. During this time Sledgehammer KO's players had a chance to rest. 78 minutes into the match, FC ILIRIA's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Åhman came free, but Karl Bank reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sledgehammer KO's Leonard Åhman got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonard Åhman in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl Bank prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fredrik Moberg struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Karl Bank didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sledgehammer KO. After a rather tough play, Sledgehammer KO's Rune Fanström got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Marcus Allbäck made a precise shot to the right of Karl Bank. FC ILIRIA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. After 91 minutes, Leonard Åhman made it 8-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC ILIRIA's Karl Bank tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Leonard Åhman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl Bank read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Sledgehammer KO walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
