In the 10th match minute, NFH Family United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wong Sophie to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Anak Selby kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alexander Sum. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Ponaryo Mangindaan kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Tạ I showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ang Chew, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Alexander Sum was a little too slow when Anak Selby got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-0. Begu Ganjang's Tạ I played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ang Chew in the 24th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Wong Sophie got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tạ I quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Anak Selby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Alexander Sum made a huge save. It was a well-played corner which Arif Nihat Tekin managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 38 minutes into the game, Anak Selby cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Alexander Sum was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes into the match, NFH Family United's goalkeeper Alexander Sum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anak Selby. Tạ I showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ang Chew in the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anak Selby to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Jithu Rajah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anak Selby in the 52nd minute of play forced NFH Family United's goalkeeper Alexander Sum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tạ I showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jithu Rajah, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 64 minutes of play, Begu Ganjang's Anak Selby made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Sum was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anak Selby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Sum having to interfere. Begu Ganjang's Fotis Perivolakos was substituted for Otto Kartasasmita. In the 80th minute Anak Selby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Sum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anak Selby struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Alexander Sum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Begu Ganjang. Alexander Sum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anak Selby's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in NFH Family United's zone, Anak Selby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Sum came out of the goal and Anak Selby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastian Cipău kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Alexander Sum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anak Selby's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Begu Ganjang had won after a very even match.
