After 3 played minutes FORZA BRESCIA got a freekick which was hit by Lalo Lagunas. 5 minutes in the game, Ulises Nueva dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. A collision led to UNITED getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Vladimir Madariaga hit a great ball. After 9 minutes, Zinon Kazakopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UNITED and the FORZA BRESCIA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, one of UNITED:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for UNITED. Cristoforo Taranto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Ecija in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Ulises Nueva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UNITED fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. UNITED's Cristoforo Taranto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save UNITED from getting a goal against them. Adalberto Ecija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristoforo Taranto had great luck who in the 42ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Adalberto Ecija from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 44th minute of the match FORZA BRESCIA got a corner. UNITED's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag.
