Rıza Vuralhan came out of the goal and Türker Türkoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 15 minutes of play, GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Ogün Öztekin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aşkın Özgunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute, Nebi Akkaynak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jerzy Marchefka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute Jerzy Marchefka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aşkın Özgunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Soυlғly FC's Türker Türkoğlu in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's goalie prevented a goal. 44 minutes into the match, Soυlғly FC's Enver İlsu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rıza Vuralhan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bumin Kağan was the one to do the kick off. Soυlғly FC's Aşkın Özgunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şener Atabek in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şener Atabek in the 84th minute of play forced Soυlғly FC's goalkeeper Aşkın Özgunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berkay Secavend kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tuncay Şanlı to maneuver through the defense.
