A. Independiente's protests and gave Wallace Whatley a yellow card for diving instead. Wallace Whatley hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Ruy Cearense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guy Uhl, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. BEST FABIO F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sebastián Rambert 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. When Vânderson da Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BEST FABIO F.C.'s protests and gave Vânderson da Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes BEST FABIO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Vânderson da Cunha. In the 41stth minute of the game Guy Uhl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BEST FABIO F.C.'s Ruy Cearense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastián Rambert came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ruy Cearense could save by the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

A collision led to BEST FABIO F.C. getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Tarcisio da Mata hit a great ball. Damian Kiser's late challenge caught a BEST FABIO F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Kiser helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes C. A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Damian Kiser. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Sebastián Rambert managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastián Rambert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruy Cearense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tarcisio da Mata got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Guy Uhl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy Cearense having to interfere. Independiente's Sebastián Rambert. But to his dismay, Sebastián Rambert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 79th minute Sebastián Rambert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Cearense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastián Rambert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruy Cearense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Sebastián Rambert made a precise shot to the right of Ruy Cearense. BEST FABIO F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Truman Cooley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rômulo dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. C. A. Independiente were victorious despite being under pressure from BEST FABIO F.C. for much of the match.
