The audience thought a goal was coming when Luan Pombo got free with Benjamin Tino in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luan Pombo came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benjamin Tino could save by the left post. Luan Pombo in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benjamin Tino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 8 played minutes Chinese CJ Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Luan Pombo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleto Cordaro in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Abad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. David Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Cordaro in the 15th minute of the match. A hard shot 18 in the game by Luan Pombo from a close distance when the talented Benjamin Tino managed to make a qualified save. Club El Progreso's players were relieved. Benjamin Tino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turgut Soyuer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino got control of the ball when Danell Mackiathan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benjamin Tino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Turgut Soyuer in the 29th minute. After 31 played minutes Club El Progreso got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Cordaro. The crowd rose to their feet as Turgut Soyuer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benjamin Tino. That made the score 1-0 in the 42 minute of play. Benjamin Tino made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Luan Pombo sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Turgut Soyuer made a kick off. Benjamin Tino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turgut Soyuer, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Indiana Jones's late challenge caught a Chinese CJ Youth Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Indiana Jones helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club El Progreso's Indiana Jones got a free kick in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Luan Pombo came free, but Benjamin Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Tino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luan Pombo in the 82nd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Turgut Soyuer notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino. Benjamin Tino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Turgut Soyuer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club El Progreso players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chinese CJ Youth Academy.
