After 12 played minutes, 浦江棋王联队's Radomil Gaszynski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jarrod Leary came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 浦江棋王联队 reached it. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Jarrod Leary played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Atov in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 康永震 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Anton Swanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarrod Leary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Gaszynski in the 34th minute of play. With an all-out effort, 浦江棋王联队's Jarrod Leary threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Radomil Gaszynski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Albert Atov came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the 浦江棋王联队 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Atov couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the match, Albert Atov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jarrod Leary, 2-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Racing Miami Futbol Club were victorious despite being under pressure from 浦江棋王联队 for much of the match.
