Monte Hermoso Beach:s Jonatan Enekoitz showed great skill when he stopped Flaco López:s penalty. 4 minutes into the match, Flaco López notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Monte Hermoso Beach's Jonatan Enekoitz. Jonatan Enekoitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 17 minutes Monte Hermoso Beach's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Denílson do Nascimento who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Denílson do Nascimento almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Monte Hermoso Beach's Jonatan Enekoitz did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pietro Sales in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Enekoitz saved Monte Hermoso Beach from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, Monte Hermoso Beach's goalkeeper Jonatan Enekoitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flaco López. After a rather tough play, Monte Hermoso Beach's Florentino Gil got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Võ Gozali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Cambranes in the 25th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Albano Cambranes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Võ Gozali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Enekoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Hermes in the 31st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Monte Hermoso Beach's zone, Flaco López stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonatan Enekoitz came out of the goal and Flaco López tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The tension between the JFSP and the Monte Hermoso Beach players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Monte Hermoso Beach booed when JFSP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flaco López didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Flaco López came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the JFSP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flaco López couldn't finish the play. In the 44thth minute of the game Albano Cambranes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JFSP's Võ Gozali was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abel Pasqualini hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Monte Hermoso Beach made a substitution. Anastasio Enol replaced Albano Cambranes. Monte Hermoso Beach's Victor Cordeara was substituted for Damian Napier. The wind increased when Pietro Sales made the kick off in the second half. Matheus Quirino hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Nicolas Pereyra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Võ Gozali. JFSP's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
