After a rather tough play, Gabbro FC's Ennio Lizzi got a free kick in the 9th minute. Meder Ferrer hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Alessandro Di Carlo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xilo Rajoi in the 16th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Gabbro FC defense, Xilo Rajoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alessandro Di Carlo. The Gabbro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alessandro Di Carlo should have stopped the shot. Alberigo Benvenuto kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Pelayo Baños got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ulises Molina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alessandro Di Carlo was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 33rdth minute of the game Pelayo Baños who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gabbro FC's Alessandro Di Carlo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Nofre Mala fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gitarriu's protests and gave Nofre Mala a yellow card for diving instead. Nofre Mala kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, one of Gitarriu:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. During the 44th minute of the match Nofre Mala completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nofre Mala a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Gitarriu getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Nofre Mala hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 53 minutes of play, Gabbro FC's Daniele Anastasi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guillermo Paz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gabbro FC's Alessandro Di Carlo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xilo Rajoi in the 57th minute of play. Pelayo Baños received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Alessandro Di Carlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Gabbro FC's Alessandro Di Carlo got control of the ball when Pelayo Baños tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute, Comunardo Testi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alessandro Di Carlo was a little too slow when Xilo Rajoi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 1-2. After a rather tough play, Gabbro FC's Cristoforo Bernardi got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pelayo Baños got free with Alessandro Di Carlo in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xilo Rajoi scored 1-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alessandro Di Carlo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alessandro Di Carlo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xilo Rajoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Gitarriu's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
