In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind ZorlaGeldik's goalkeeper Tarık Hacılar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute, İlyas Tolga Saver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emil Czekaj blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tarık Hacılar having to make a save. If Jacek Sienkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerzy Budzynski during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Jerzy Budzynski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ZorlaGeldik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 37 played minutes ZorlaGeldik got a freekick which was hit by Rahman Bozyiğit. Tarık Hacılar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Sienkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Tarık Hacılar made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Jacek Sienkiewicz sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, Błękitny Grom's goal looked a bit too open when Osman Nuri Haylaz came free, but Witalis Kosel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Zenon Wierzchowski fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Błękitny Grom's protests and gave Zenon Wierzchowski a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ZorlaGeldik booed when Błękitny Grom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zenon Wierzchowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

A collision led to ZorlaGeldik getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Abdulaziz Derem hit a great ball. The audience cheered when Tytus Borowski's long shot passed Tarık Hacılar's right side. It was 1-1, 53 minutes into the match. After 56 played minutes Błękitny Grom got a freekick which was hit by Tytus Borowski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Budzynski in the 64th minute of play forced ZorlaGeldik's goalkeeper Tarık Hacılar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tytus Borowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 minutes, Jacek Sienkiewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Błękitny Grom and the ZorlaGeldik players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Błękitny Grom got a freekick which was hit by Jacek Sienkiewicz. Abdulaziz Derem hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 78thth minute of the game Jacek Sienkiewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ZorlaGeldik's Tarık Hacılar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Błękitny Grom booed when ZorlaGeldik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cevat Çokay didn't get a good kick on the ball. ZorlaGeldik's Tarık Hacılar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Boruta in the 82nd minute of play. ZorlaGeldik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacek Sienkiewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Błękitny Grom fully deserved thier win.
