Wanderson Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Antonio Faxardo sent off a good shot on target. Julian Jibajas short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Wanderson Azevedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of FERRABARCA FC booed when Clube Esportivo Aimoré was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. FERRABARCA FC's Cresconio Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Vítor de Amorim in the 23rd minute of play. Cresconio Mel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Esteban Colado fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FERRABARCA FC's protests and gave Esteban Colado a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes FERRABARCA FC got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Colado. The audience was convinced that Julian Jibaja's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wanderson Azevedo was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, Antonio Faxardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wanderson Azevedo. Clube Esportivo Aimoré's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Faxardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Clube Esportivo Aimoré's Wanderson Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Clube Esportivo Aimoré from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicolas Nogueira made a kick off. In the 55th match minute, FERRABARCA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xzavier Mirabel to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Jibaja in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wanderson Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 60 played minutes FERRABARCA FC got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Faxardo. The FERRABARCA FC fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when FERRABARCA FC's Julian Jibaja looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FERRABARCA FC had won after a very even match.
