Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leon Medjiba started the match with the kick off. Val Lowery kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. When F.C. 1670 Nassau's Leon Medjiba in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Moorefield AFC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Leon Medjiba put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Virgil Gaines. In the 8th minute, Lee Delong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute, Rabah Khabatou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. 1670 Nassau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The supporters of F.C. 1670 Nassau booed when Moorefield AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Pryor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Leon Medjiba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgil Gaines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, F.C. 1670 Nassau's José Chilavert got control of the ball when Julian Pryor tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Winford Bowden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. 1670 Nassau's zone, Julian Pryor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Chilavert came out of the goal and Julian Pryor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Kader Cixous hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Leon Medjiba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. 1670 Nassau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lee Delong made a kick off. Lee Delong struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. José Chilavert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moorefield AFC. Moorefield AFC's Virgil Gaines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Medjiba in the 54th minute of play. Moorefield AFC's Lee Delong got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd match minute, Moorefield AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Alonzo to maneuver through the defense. Lee Delong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virgil Gaines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Medjiba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blair Nunez's late challenge caught a F.C. 1670 Nassau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blair Nunez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Moorefield AFC's Blair Nunez got a free kick in the 86th minute. Leon Medjiba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Virgil Gaines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgil Gaines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rabah Khabatou in the 92nd minute of the match.
