The tension between the Club Vertigo and the Cascade Park West players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cascade Park West booed when Club Vertigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Răzvan Davidescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th match minute, Cascade Park West was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moses Lopes to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute Aurelian Mănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Knapp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute Club Vertigo were awarded a corner. Răzvan Davidescu went to the cornerflag to take it. 24 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Cole Whitfield came free, but Gabriel Hrean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles Knapp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelian Mănescu went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, Dorin Simionescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurelian Mănescu scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charles Knapp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Charles Knapp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelian Mănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Charles Knapp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Berceanu in the 40th minute of play. Cascade Park West's Charles Knapp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Ulici in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelian Mănescu in the 43rd minute of play forced Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Charles Knapp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 minutes of play, Club Vertigo's Dorin Simionescu made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charles Knapp was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aurelian Mănescu was the one to do the kick off. Tiberiu Ulici could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Charles Knapp made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiberiu Ulici got free with Charles Knapp in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dorin Simionescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Charles Knapp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Chirea kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Charles Knapp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelian Mănescu in the 59th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Club Vertigo got a freekick which was hit by Petrică Dumitrescu. Aurelian Mănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. After 87 minutes of play, Club Vertigo's Dorin Simionescu made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charles Knapp was left in no man's land by his defense there! Club Vertigo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
