Fabio Di Maio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ni Le Zheng having to interfere. Ni Le Zheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Klose in the 21st minute of play. AC Batán's Angelo Ilixo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Corneliu Cozac in the 23 minute of the game. Ni Le Zheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslav Klose in the 31st minute of the match. Ensar Secaattin was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Acácio Nogueira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
