The referee showed Kristo Haluriit the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes Grimório got a freekick which was hit by Kristo Haluriit. In the 6th minute of the match, Teodoro Massa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Uudo Lant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 7 minutes of play, Grimório's Kajar Jaama made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Édouard Mendy was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute, Kajar Jaama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute of the match Amílton Marinho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Uudo Lant skillfully saved the ball. Toninho Prestes kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Oséas Falcão hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Uudo Lant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 29th minute Wilson Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uudo Lant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Grimório defense, Wilson Matorin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uudo Lant. The Grimório fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uudo Lant should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Võsandi in the 36th minute of play forced Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Al-Fajuth's Toninho Prestes got a free kick in the 37th minute. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Al-Fajuth's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaagup Rajavee was slow to take the kick. During this time Grimório's players had a chance to rest. Édouard Mendy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajar Jaama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 43 minutes, Wilson Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Al-Fajuth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilson Matorin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Teodoro Massa made the kick off in the second half. Uudo Lant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Furlan in the 51st minute of play. Grimório's attentive Ernst Võsandi managed to snatch the ball when Wilson Matorin made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erkki Leesment in the 61st minute of play forced Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Furlan in the 64th minute of play forced Grimório's goalkeeper Uudo Lant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Einar Laaniste took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Édouard Mendy. Édouard Mendy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Édouard Mendy was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Kajar Jaama capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kajar Jaama really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. In the 80th minute, Kajar Jaama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Al-Fajuth made a substitution. Carlos Marinho replaced Teodoro Massa. The supporters of Al-Fajuth booed when Grimório was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kajar Jaama didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Grimório's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeu Furlan came free, but Uudo Lant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uudo Lant came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Al-Fajuth's Wilson Matorin. But to his dismay, Wilson Matorin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Matorin in the 89th minute of play forced Grimório's goalkeeper Uudo Lant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Einar Laaniste was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grimório's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Al-Fajuth the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, Grimório was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Einar Laaniste to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes Grimório got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Võsandi. Uudo Lant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Furlan in the 96th minute of play. The Grimório players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
