In the 11th minute Zhao Sen Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurel Crivoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Hugo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The throw-in from İlhami Akyazıcı in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Guld Run. 18 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Hector Hugo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diki Doro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Marius Neset to fire away a dangerous shot which Diki Doro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Aurel Crivoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Hugo in the 27th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Diki Doro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute of the match, Zhao Sen Yang tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aurel Crivoi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Stasio Bienienda came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aurel Crivoi could save by the left post. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s attentive Dacian Tilea managed to snatch the ball when Edwin Uter made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. Zhao Sen Yang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aurel Crivoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Aurel Crivoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhao Sen Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Wielopolski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Aurel Crivoi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 39th minute of the match, Zhao Sen Yang tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aurel Crivoi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Diki Doro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Hugo in the 42nd minute of play. Zhao Sen Yang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurel Crivoi having to make a save. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Hugo made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Diki Doro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Hugo. After a defensive mix-up in Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's zone, Zhao Sen Yang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurel Crivoi came out of the goal and Zhao Sen Yang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Wielopolski came free, but Aurel Crivoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diki Doro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Hugo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 66th minute of play forced Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalkeeper Aurel Crivoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Aurel Crivoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Wielopolski in the 68th minute of play. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Grigore Maghiran was substituted for İlhami Akyazıcı. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 95 minutes into the game, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Petre Iftode nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurel Crivoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
