Wladimir Vinthen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demetrio Cannata, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Domenico Forlano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luca Langoni's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Fiume Veneto's Domenico Forlano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Gentil in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Luca Langoni reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Domenico Forlano. The goal made the score 2-0. Diego Gentil was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. The Potters's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 32nd minute, The Potters's Diego Gentil ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Domenico Forlano. Domenico Forlano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Domenico Forlano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Gentil's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Luca Langoni took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domenico Forlano. Domenico Forlano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Bruno Rossetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Demetrio Cannata during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Fiume Veneto getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Demetrio Cannata hit a great ball.

Domenico Forlano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Gentil in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Diego Gentil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domenico Forlano was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Fiume Veneto's Bruno Rossetti got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The The Potters fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when The Potters's Luca Langoni looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Diego Gentil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domenico Forlano having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luca Langoni in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domenico Forlano saved Fiume Veneto from getting behind. The supporters of The Potters booed when Fiume Veneto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano De Simone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domenico Forlano came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by The Potters's Luca Langoni. But to his dismay, Luca Langoni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. When the referee ended the match the The Potters players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
