After 50 played minutes Fesport FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Parra. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fesport FC's goalkeeper Hermelando Palacios, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ignacio Scocco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Hermelando Palacios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ignacio Scocco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermelando Palacios was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Gonzalo Cazorla came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcelo Barovero could save by the left post. After 77 played minutes River CBBA got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Solari. River CBBA made a substitution. Artur Abechuco replaced Fabian Ayala. After 81 minutes, Baldovino Nueva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fesport FC and the River CBBA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pablo Solari kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Filipo Abeita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermelando Palacios read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldovino Nueva in the 91st minute of play. Hermelando Palacios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Ruben in the 92nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Fesport FC defense, Marco Ruben kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hermelando Palacios. The Fesport FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hermelando Palacios should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fesport FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for River CBBA.
