In the 16th minute, David Evis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LA DEL MONO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, David Evis managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA DEL MONO's supporters rose to their feet, but David Evis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniele Pich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dan Lowes in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The corner was taken by 曲益光 in the 26th minute. It was a well-played corner which Bryce Reichelt managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liang Cai got free with Anibal Aritza in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by LA DEL MONO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 曲益光 was slow to take the kick. David Evis hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Anibal Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Lowes in the 44th minute of play. After the first half LA DEL MONO were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Liang Cai was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, LA DEL MONO's goal looked a bit too open when Liang Cai came free, but Anibal Aritza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, LA DEL MONO's David Evis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniele Pich narrowly saved just below the crossbar. LA DEL MONO's Silverio Cidro was substituted for David Evis. LA DEL MONO's Silvestre Txomin was substituted for Honorato Chap. Kasper Elssen helped the player get up and apologised. Kasper Elssen hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Anibal Aritza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Liang Cai went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Silvestre Txomin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Dan Lowes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvestre Txomin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Daniele Pich made a huge save.
