The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jussi Björling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomás Domeka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jussi Björling went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Los Delfines's Tomás Domeka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Los Delfines from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute of the match, Jussi Björling tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tomás Domeka saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Los Delfines's Tomás Domeka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jussi Björling in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Los Delfines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Veronica to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Jussi Björling notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Los Delfines's Tomás Domeka. Tomás Domeka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jussi Björling in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Domeka saved Los Delfines from getting behind. In the 42nd match minute, Los Delfines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Eutropio to maneuver through the defense. Los Delfines's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Jussi Björling scored to the left of an out of position Tomás Domeka, making the score, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Jussi Björling took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomás Domeka. Tomás Domeka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 64th minute Jussi Björling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Domeka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Xentrias's Jussi Björling nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Domeka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Jussi Björling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomás Domeka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jussi Björling, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Jussi Björling notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Los Delfines's Tomás Domeka. Tomás Domeka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 79 minutes into the match, Xentrias's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Pudes came free, but Villiam Snell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Ezequiel Miro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute of the match Edgar Lundin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomás Domeka skillfully saved the ball. When Jussi Björling came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Xentrias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jussi Björling couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, Jussi Björling had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomás Domeka. Los Delfines's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jussi Björling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. There was no doubt that Xentrias were the better team. Xentrias's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
