After 12 minutes, Sinan Ağaoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Geçkinli and the Creekers players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Göksel Umar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfred Crowder was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mehmet Ediz Tanbek didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Creekers's Alfredo Baez shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 21 minutes into the game, Yüksel Varol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gary Gamble in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mehmet Ediz Tanbek, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 38th minute Müjdat Rafih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Crowder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Gary Gamble sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Gary Gamble's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Ediz Tanbek was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Alfred Crowder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kuddusî Saatçioğlu in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, Creekers's Desmond Patterson got a free kick in the 58th minute. The supporters of Geçkinli booed when Creekers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orville Perdue didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Naim Ozanalp in the 82nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Creekers's Timothy Wilkerson. In the 83rd minute Sanford Adkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Ediz Tanbek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Sanford Adkins cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Mehmet Ediz Tanbek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfredo Baez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Alfredo Baez came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Creekers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Baez couldn't finish the play. Kuddusî Saatçioğlu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfred Crowder came out and tried to block the shot, but Kuddusî Saatçioğlu slotted it home off the left post making it 4-4 in the 96th minute.
