Racing Miami Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tod Goss was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Johnathan Valle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelinho Teles. Cachaça FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johnathan Valle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Milo Petersen kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Alberto Vargas during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Cachaça FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Alberto Vargas to maneuver through the defense. Cachaça FC's Marcelinho Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnathan Valle in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Cachaça FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dito Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Marcelinho Teles threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Johnathan Valle, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 26 minutes, André Lira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cachaça FC and the Racing Miami Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tod Goss got in the 26th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Marcelinho Teles. This was a shot which ended in a score of 2-1. Marcelinho Teles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conrad Elliott in the 32nd minute. After 34th play minutes Johnathan Valle shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Marcelinho Teles and just under the crossbar into goal. Marcelinho Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnathan Valle in the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Roderick Watson replaced Al Scott. The wind increased when Nicky Cavazos made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Nicky Cavazos got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Nicky Cavazos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelinho Teles was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Marcelinho Teles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicky Cavazos took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelinho Teles. Marcelinho Teles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. Marcelinho Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicky Cavazos in the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Cachaça FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicky Cavazos came free, but Marcelinho Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Didi Dionísio during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
