If Johnathan Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Max Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Illan in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nahitantino's Clodoveo Caetano got a free kick in the 11th minute. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Max Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Illan in the 13th minute of play. Santos Carmona kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicky Cavazos in the 19th minute of play forced Nahitantino's goalkeeper Israel Vergaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nahitantino's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cameron Bliss was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Miami Futbol Club's players had a chance to rest. 28 minutes into the game, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Nicky Cavazos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Israel Vergaray made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 31st match minute, Nahitantino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Bibiano to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rdth minute of the game Nicky Cavazos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nahitantino's Israel Vergaray was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Racing Miami Futbol Club were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Nahitantino's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cameron Bliss took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Cameron Bliss got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Israel Vergaray quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 38th minute, Nicky Cavazos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Illan came free, but Max Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Nahitantino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Guillelme to maneuver through the defense.

Racing Miami Futbol Club's Basil Roark was substituted for Sterling Sosa. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conrad Elliott in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Israel Vergaray prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Nahitantino's zone, Nicky Cavazos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Israel Vergaray came out of the goal and Nicky Cavazos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicky Cavazos took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Israel Vergaray. Israel Vergaray dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicky Cavazos in the 63rd minute of play forced Nahitantino's goalkeeper Israel Vergaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Cameron Bliss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Conrad Elliott cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Israel Vergaray was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nahitantino's Enrique Rafe was substituted for Primitivo Bibiano. Nahitantino's Jaime Rico was substituted for Oscar Romano. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nahitantino's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cameron Bliss was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Miami Futbol Club's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Nahitantino's goalie and right to Colby Roth. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Nahitantino's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Forrest Lester hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Max Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Illan in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute of the match, Jaime Rico tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Max Pena saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Racing Miami Futbol Club players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
