The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, FC Zenit Saint Petersburg's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Porro came free, but Zafer Hürsel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jörgen Ekeroth struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Eulalio Calisto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristiano Porro made a kick off. Bonobos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Zenit Saint Petersburg the free kick. 59 minutes into the game, FC Zenit Saint Petersburg's Jörgen Ekeroth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eulalio Calisto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Bonobos FC's Eulalio Calisto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Kjellman in the 74th minute of play. Bonobos FC were furious when Carter Longo was red carded, 77 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests.
