Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Basil Craven took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 9 played minutes Conakry FC got a freekick which was hit by Bobby Thornton. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Bora La Marca managed to get in a good position for a shot. New England Minas's supporters rose to their feet, but Bora La Marca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mervin Frost breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cory Kirkland in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mervin Frost prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute of the match New England Minas got a corner. Conakry FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dirk Hatfield ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Dirk Hatfield got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mervin Frost quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mervin Frost made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chris Cabezon in the 18th minute. Mervin Frost was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Bora La Marca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bora La Marca really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jon Negron during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th match minute, New England Minas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon Negron to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Conakry FC's goalkeeper Mervin Frost had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Cabezon. 28 minutes into the game, New England Minas's Cory Kirkland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mervin Frost made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cory Kirkland in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mervin Frost saved Conakry FC from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Conakry FC's goalkeeper Mervin Frost had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dallas Seymour. With a little luck, Conakry FC's Mervin Frost got control of the ball when Chris Cabezon tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th play minute Chris Cabezon came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mervin Frost. 3-0. Conakry FC's Mervin Frost proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Conakry FC from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, New England Minas's Chris Cabezon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Jão Cabeleira got a throw-in 46 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Cory Kirkland.

Conakry FC were furious when Bailey Noel was red carded, 51 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Bailey Noel kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Bora La Marca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mervin Frost saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mervin Frost made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Cabezon in the 54th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Cory Kirkland put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mervin Frost. Chris Cabezon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Conakry FC booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jão Cabeleira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute Chris Cabezon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mervin Frost saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conakry FC's Mervin Frost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cory Kirkland in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Conakry FC's goalkeeper Mervin Frost, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Conakry FC defense, Chris Cabezon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mervin Frost. The Conakry FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mervin Frost should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Cabezon in the 74th minute of play forced Conakry FC's goalkeeper Mervin Frost to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes Conakry FC got a freekick which was hit by Darron Swenson. In the 77th minute, Bora La Marca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New England Minas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After 80 minutes, Chris Cabezon made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Conakry FC's Mervin Frost tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
