Cibran Aladro hit a great ball. In the 9th minute of the match, Giuseppe Jewell got a very nice opportunity to score, but Oto Valle was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marques Toraño in the 14th minute of play forced Santos FC's goalkeeper Errol Sharpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marques Toraño was slow to take the kick. During this time Zebolla FC's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Soter Muxica heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Santos FC's Errol Sharpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Montesinos in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Santos FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Byron Kane hit a great ball. Efrain Payon kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Giuseppe Jewell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Oto Valle made a huge save. Errol Sharpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marques Toraño, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, Santos FC's Kris Marks got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 41st minute Henric Mensa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Errol Sharpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaston Urtarte hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Giuseppe Jewell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Oto Valle made a huge save. Marques Toraño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Errol Sharpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Montesinos was the one to do the kick off. Henric Mensa hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Oto Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Jewell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kris Marks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Oto Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Jimmy Coulter made a precise shot to the right of Oto Valle. Zebolla FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Marques Toraño's late challenge caught a Santos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marques Toraño helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute Marques Toraño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Errol Sharpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimmy Coulter struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Oto Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos FC. After 82 played minutes Zebolla FC got a freekick which was hit by Faron Sancha. After a rather tough play, Santos FC's Anthony Wall got a free kick in the 90th minute. Jimmy Coulter kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Santos FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
