A collision led to Dunamis getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Urbano Lartaun hit a great ball. Antonio Sorriva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Ruisko in the 12th minute of play. After 13 minutes of play, Dunamis's Fidel Ruisko made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Sorriva was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 16 played minutes Sociedad Anónima got a freekick which was hit by Gencal Beren. 18 minutes into the match, Sociedad Anónima's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Ruisko came free, but Antonio Sorriva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Sorriva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dom Mingo's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 20th match minute, Sociedad Anónima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Carulla to maneuver through the defense. Dunamis's Fulgencio Rubio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Dunamis from getting a goal against them. In the 25thth minute of the game Dom Mingo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sociedad Anónima's Antonio Sorriva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sociedad Anónima's Marino Malet suffered a sore thigh after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Bas Ovando's late challenge caught a Sociedad Anónima's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bas Ovando helped the player get up and apologised. Sociedad Anónima made a substitution. Lourenco Agreda replaced Marino Malet. In the 27th minute, one of Dunamis:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dunamis. Fulgencio Rubio had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Edelmiro Carulla's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Antonio Sorriva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dom Mingo in the 35th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Lourenco Agreda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Dunamis booed when Sociedad Anónima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lourenco Agreda didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Dunamis fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Dunamis's Fidel Ruisko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Dunamis were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lourenco Agreda to strike the kick off in the second half. Urbano Lartaun made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sociedad Anónima's Stefan Kjellqvist. After 54 minutes, Stefan Kjellqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sociedad Anónima and the Dunamis players grew even worse after the yellow card.
